About

Our project started in the form of a railway arch pop-up 'L.C'. Working from an outside shipping container saw Leandro break from the fine-dining style he had become known for and gave him the opportunity to explore Portugal with fresh eyes, and a new-found rawness in the kitchen.

The incubation project grew into what is now Londrino, the Portuguese word for Londoner. An elegant neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar, for celebrations or a tipple and quick bite to eat.

Born and raised in Leiria in Portugal, Leandro began his career working in restaurants in Lisbon before travelling around the Basque country and the Middle East, eventually settling in London, a city he now calls home. Londrino is a culmination of these culinary influences.

Using food and wine as a platform to explore cultures has always seemed natural to us. The team draws upon their varied backgrounds, welcoming development to help the restaurant grow as a whole.
